Seller represents that the puppy has no known disease or illness , and has no known congenital or hereditary conditions that would adversely affect the health of the puppy at the time of the sale or that is likely to adversely affect the health of the puppy in the future..
Seller is not responsible to buyer for payment of veterinarian fees for examinations, vaccinations, X-rays, or any other medical treatments for the puppy in the future..
Seller is not responsible for shipping of the puppy.
Deposits are non-refundable unless your puppy can not be delivered to you .. Then you will have the choice to choose another puppy of equal value or have your deposit returned to you. If you use pay pal, the transfer fees will not be returned (3%)
A limited health guarantee will go with the sale of your puppy. When your new puppy comes home you have 72 hours to take your Chihuahua to a DVM for a health exam, X-rays, and blood work up. Your pup may have loose stools from traveling or change in diet, but I would recommend a stool sample to be taken to your vet... If any health problem's are detected during the first exam we will , with a vet statement take your pup back, but only if you return the pup and AKC papers with a vet statement. If you elect to keep your pup you will be on own.. Shipping and all vet bills are the responsibility of the buyers. We will only refund the price of the puppy.
Size , color, temperament, height, can not be guaranteed.. All our puppies are AKC Registered. I raised and breed my dogs as pets . What you do with your dog is up to you.. If you show him/her that is your choice.. My goal is to raise nice Family Quality Pets with some having the the potential at excelling in the show ring ,etc. As I state above, my only concern is to produce a Family Quality Pet that you can have a lifetime of happiness with.. Once your puppy goes home I have no control on what you do with him/her or how you feed or treat the animal.
Things not covered: OPEN FONTANEL is also known as Molera, it is like what a newborn baby has on the top of the head( soft spot)
TRACHEA small breeds tend to develop a small cough due to the collapse of tracheal rings. Also known as reverse sneezing.
HERNIAS our experience has been that it usually clears up by six months of age. If not, we reserve the right or not , to cover this only if we get vet statements. You will only be refunded the cost of your pup and nothing else.
OBESITY If you Chihuahua seems to be growing and you are unhappy about the size of your puppy, take the puppy to a vet, your dog may be obese... Your puppy should not have to much flesh or lots of something to grab at the neck area.. We absolutely do not cover this!!!
TESTICLES Have your vet check for these in the first three days.. Your vet should see if they are there. If you don't come back with a vet statement in the first three days then, forget it!!!
HEART MURMURS, If your dog can live a functional life and it does not change the quality, it is not covered. If it alters your dogs life style then again , vet statements are needed and we will take the dog back provided that you return the AKC papers and the dog.. You pay shipping and vet exams. We will refund in this case.
SUBLUXATION OF THE PATELLA'S Called loose kneecaps. When it occurs the kneecap (rear legs) slips out of it groove.. This problem can be common in small breeds and in mild case a dog can live a normal life. Sometimes this can be a serious problem and surgery is needed. A BREEDER WANTED ME TO CHANGE THIS AND TO PUT THAT THIS IS HEREDITARY ; I CONFERRED WITH MY VET AND HE SAID IT IS, BUT IF THE LEGS OR THE KNEECAPS HAVE BEEN INJURED THEN THIS CAN CAUSE THE PROBLEM TOO.. I would want a vet to examine your dog and if no injury is found and your dog has subluxation of the patella's then I will replace with a like similar prospect
Again, we reserve the right to be responsible for this if the dog is in the owners care. We will take each case , by case. If this happens; again vet statements are necessary and if we decide to take the dog back we will need the AKC papers and I will replace your pup/dog with a like similar prospect.
HYPOGLYCEMIA can be avoided. Make sure your puppy never goes for any length of time without food and water. Always, leave a little food and water down for your puppy. This can be avoided and we will not be responsible..
TEETH/BITE I have not found a breeder yet , including the big show breeder's that guarantee bites. All I can do is make sure my dam and sires have nice teeth and good bites. If your baby has a bite that is off then please do not ask me to refund you the cost of your pup.. If the bite is so bad that your pups life is altered ,ie can't eat etc. then please have your vet contact me in writting and follow up with a visit or phone call to his/her office. I will also want to see the pup in person or by pictures ( if you live in another State) before I would even consider any course of action , if any. I want to see the pup because I depend on seeing the pup to determine if I want to retire the parents or not.
CONTRACTS All of our puppies that leave here and stay in state will be on SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACTS. You will sign a contract before you take your pup home with you and I do follow up to make sure this has been done.. PLEASE , PLEASE, PLEASE , DO NOT WASTE OUR TIME WHEN YOU BUY YOUR PUP.. IF YOU WANT A DOG THAT IS ABLE TO PRODUCE PUPPIES THEN PLEASE DON'T COME HERE. YOU GET YOUR PUP FOR A DISCOUNTED PRICE AND ALL WE ASK IS THAT THE CONTRACT IS FOLLOWED AND THAT MEANS YOU SPAY /NEUTERED AT THE AGE WE ASKED YOU TO.
We are hobby breeder's that enjoy the breed. We only have AKC Reg. Chihuahua's and this is not a living for us. All monies goes right back into the dogs up keep..They eat the best food, get toys, bedding, , vet care, treats, etc.. Also , we might sell one pup and turn around and place that same money down on a pup for ourself to keep our line fresh.. We don't line breed either.. We hold back a few pups here and there and then when our boys are a few years old we let them go to a perm. home for very little in cost.
